“For all the diseases that exist in this world, there are three compounding factors – poverty, ignorance, and apathy. We cannot eliminate diseases from the world, but we sure can prevent them from compounding,” says Dr. Vishwanath. “The social dividend of empowering disabled people with accessible infrastructure is so high that the lack of it can only be a mark of an uncivilized society.”
Dr. Vishwanath, an esteemed Plastic surgeon and member of Inali Foundation’s Medical Advisory Board, has been instrumental in guiding the foundation. His valuable advice and medical suggestions have been crucial in maximizing our impact on the disabled population.
On December 3rd, hashtag#WorldDisabilityDay2024 , Inali Foundation organized a special camp where over 30 individuals were invited to receive their prosthetic hand fitments and interact with our team.
