Introducing The Inali Arm: A revolutionary prosthetic limb
The Inali Arm is a solution to the challenges that amputees face. It is our means of empowering them to live their lives on their terms.
Information about prosthetic limb
Prosthetic limbs are advanced artificial devices designed to replace missing limbs, offering functionality and sometimes sensory feedback. They include upper and lower limb prosthetics, with components like sockets, suspension systems, joints, pylons, and terminal devices. Control systems range from body-powered to myoelectric, allowing for intuitive movement. Advances such as bionic limbs, sensory feedback systems, and 3D printing have significantly enhanced their usability and accessibility.
The Inali switch based arm
The Inali Foundation Below Elbow Arm is a complete solution for users with a below elbow amputation. The system includes a switch controlled arm, Stump socks,a battery pack and battery charger. The switch controlled arm is made of lightweight materials and is powered by batteries. The arm is controlled by the user's input taken from onboard switch which allows the user to adjust the grip of the arm. The battery pack provides power to the arms terminal device.
The main components of an elbow prosthetic arm are highlighted below
The harness is used to secure a prosthetic arm to the residual limb. It helps to distribute weight evenly and provides support and stability for the arm.
Elbow/ Triceps harness
Forearm socket is made up of 120 gms of HDPE granules which are blow moulded to form the shape of the forearm.
Forearm Socket
Inali Below elbow arm comes with a 2500 mAh 7.4 V battery pack which gives a total continuous operation time of 25hrs. The charging time of the battery is 90mins.
Battery Pack
There are two switches and a control unit which are used to operate the terminal devices in two different directions.

The Inner gloves are made up of PVC which is 3 mm thick. It is used for providing the natural shape of the human hand.
Terminal device Inner Gloves
The terminal device consists of a four bar mechanism (crank rocker) which is driven by a battery operated motor. The mechanism is made up of Aluminium and MS components and the motor is housed with the gearbox inside a plastic chassis. This brings down the total weight of the terminal device to 140 gms only.
Terminal device
The forearm and hand provide the ability to grip and hold objects. The terminal device is used to perform tasks such as writing, eating, and grooming. The maximum griping force provided by the terminal device is 2.8 Kgs  at the fingertip with 7.4 v battery charge.

How does The Inali Arm make a difference?
Easy to use
The arm is propelled with actuators controlled by the user's input taken from the onboard switch, which makes the operation easy to use.
No learning curve
The switches placed on the socket makes the arm functional. The simplicity of the control mechanism ensures quick adaptation.
Powered by an electronic battery
The battery life of the arm lasts for 25 hours of continuous operation, with the recharge taking 45 minutes, ensuring an uncompromised & reliable functioning.
Easy fitment process
The absence of the need for surgery or operation makes it an efficient means for conducting one’s daily routine smoothly.
Lightweight & strong
The arm has a lifting capacity of up to 7 kg of weight and ensures correct posture, because of the thermoplastic HDPE shields it contains.
Equipped with silicon gloves
Along with ensuring a grip and control that helps in the performance of routine tasks, the silicon gloves provide a natural look to the arm.

The fitment process includes various stages
Information is collected from patients.
Patients are catered to on a first-come, first-serve basis and are filtered according to their amputation type and our ability to provide a solution.
Appointments are finalized.
The patient will have a follow-up after 15 days of the limb’s fitment.
Once the patients are at our center for the fitment, the P&Os and the technicians conduct the process and the fitment would be complete.
Patients are asked to visit the nearest fitment center for the performance of the process.
