This Privacy Statement is intended to lay down the practices we follow for honoring the privacy preferences of the people visiting our website www.inalifoundation.com. The Privacy Policy document also elaborates on our information collection and sharing practices. Irrespective of the mode in which we receive your personal information (whether via this website or over the phone or through any other means), we make all earnest attempts to honor your privacy. This document contains the requisite information about Inali Foundation’s responsibilities, your rights, and information that is collected by us and how it is used.

What kinds of information do we collect? 

We collect information from you to extend services like processing your donations, providing receipts and tax exemption certificates, sending regular updates about the work we do for people with disabilities, responding to your queries, and apprising you of the new opportunities to help with limb disabilities in India in a better way. 

We seek your personal information when you make a donation, request a communication from us, register for an on-ground event, pledge support to our work and campaigns and apply for work or volunteer with Inali Foundation. This information may include but is not limited to being sought over the phone, through the website, via email, or by the means of face-to-face interaction. 

Device Information: 

We collect information from or about the computers, phones, or other devices where you access our services, depending on the permissions you have granted. Here are some examples of the device information that we collect:

Attributes such as the operating system, hardware version, device settings, file and software names, types, battery, signal strength, and device identifiers. 

Device locations, including but not limited to specific geographic locations, such as GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi signals. 

Connection information such as the name of your mobile operator or ISP, browser type, language and time zone, mobile phone number, and IP address. 

Information from third-party partners: 

We receive information about you from third-party partners, such as information including but not limited to from a partner where we jointly offer products and services or from an advertiser about your experiences and interactions with them. 

INFORMATION SECURITY 

Inali Foundation has in place the necessary security mechanisms and only designated employees have access to your personal information. All online transactions are done on a secure server. The information you provide on the donation transaction page is encrypted using SSL – Secure Sockets Layer (you will see a green padlock icon on the left-hand side of the address bar in your browser). At the same time, the website address in the address bar at the top of the browser screen starts with an ‘https’ instead of an ‘http’. Donation pages are verified by VeriSign and transactions are processed using a VeriSign merchant account. 

How do we use this information? 

Improve and develop better products and services: 

We are able to deliver our products and services, and personalize them as per your need by using this information to understand your requirements and thus extend our services. 

When we have location information, we use it to tailor our products and services for you and others. We conduct surveys and research, test features in development, and analyze the information that we have in order to evaluate and improve our products and services and develop new products.

To communicate with you: 

We use your information to communicate with you regarding your needs and our products and services. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us with your queries and to let you know about our product, services, policies and terms from time to time.

Sharing with third-party partners: 

We work with third-party companies who help us provide and improve our products or services or both or who collaborate with us via funds and donations which makes it possible for our company to operate and provide products and services to people in need. 

Credit/Debit Card Transactions, Electronic Fund Transfers, and Payments by Cheque: 

We avail the services of the third parties to provide donation facilities by means of cheques, credit/debit card payments, or electronic fund transfers. While your information may be shared with these third parties, we make stringent efforts to require all third-party service providers to hold personal information in strict confidence. However, since these third-parties collaborations do not form a permanent partnership with the company and the collaboration is strictly on a project-to-project basis, we do not exercise complete control over these third parties, and thus the information shared with them is governed by their respective privacy policies. 

Necessity: 

If Inali Foundation is convinced that there has been some inappropriate activity with or on our website/webpages, communications, charitable services, or personal or real property, or if we have reasons to believe that anyone using any of the Inali Foundation’s services is causing harm to our donors, employees, partners, vendors, etc., we may disclose the personal information as we deem appropriate to safeguard the interests of the parties mentioned above. (of which, we may or may not notify you)

us to do so. We engage a number of vendors, consultants, contractors, etc., and take support of our group companies or affiliates (hereon referred to as our Partners). Our Partners provide a host of services including contact information verification, payment processing, customer service, website hosting, data analysis, infrastructure provision, IT services, and other similar services. These Partners play a key role in the seamless delivery of our products and services to you. These Partners and their employees operate under a contract and strict security & confidentiality restrictions.
